Welcome!
You are an incredible and selfless person to have taken on the responsibility of motherhood knowing your rewards would not be monetary. In your wisdom, you know those rewards come in the form of the love, joy, connection, and pride you experience in your relationship with your children and those rewards are priceless. Motherhood is not valued enough in our society. If it were, you’d be paid generously for the work you do. But you know your value and know what you are doing as a mother is actually the most valuable contribution there is to our society.
Watch the For Moms Only video on the Mom's Dashboard. Please note the video For Moms Only is really, really meant for your eyes only, and so make sure your kids are not around when you watch it.
Review the contents in Your Personal Toolbox you received with your program, kept at the bottom of the Mom's Dashboard page. The tools were lovingly created to appeal to your children and the simple instructions for using each tool will make your job easy. You’ll need to keep what you print in a safe place, like where you hide Christmas presents.
On your Mom's Dashboard, you can also personalize your children’s pages by keying their names on their page.
Now click over to the Snuggle Bunny Classroom. This is where your children can click around. We recommend that you watch each of the videos on the Snuggle Bunny Classroom page before you show them to your children.
Take a photo of your children’s messy rooms so you can have the joy of “before” and “after.”
Don’t worry; I won’t be abandoning you to do this all alone! You’ll receive an email from me every week day, with tips, ideas, encouragement and fun. And remember, you can always opt out of receiving them.
Three things to do with your children today!
Ask them to come over and look at the Hall of Clean Rooms! What rooms do they like? Why do they like those room? this provides a nice moment for you and your Snuggle Bunnies to just observe.
If they haven’t seen the Pick Up Five Things Video share this with them now! You are going to love this one! They’ll be excited about the House Fairy leaving a surprise and not about getting to watch her teach a bunch of lessons that are included in the program. With that first visit, the House Fairy could leave the House Fairy Snuggle Bunny Membership Certificate (Toolbox), or the House Fairy’s First Letter to Your Child, praising the passing of the test by putting away five things (Toolbox). Either item or both together, along with a small surprise would make a perfect reason for that initial House Fairy visit.
When you are ready, to ahead and introduce them to their very own Snuggle Bunny Clasroom page!
As your children get acquainted with the House Fairy and understand what she expects from them (through the lesson videos), their imaginations will kick in, they’ll think about her checking on their good deeds and leaving surprises for them. But at first, your children will just be waiting for that first visit and surprise.
It’s vital you do NOT use the House Fairy videos in a negative way. For example: “Clean up your mess or you’ll have to watch another House Fairy video.” You’ll discover, however, you can use the House Fairy as a reminder. For example: “I have a feeling the House Fairy is going to visit, let’s clean up.” You’ll find just the mention of her will spark motivation, if you’ve been consistent and have followed through on a regular basis.
I hope the House Fairy will work wonders in your home. The House Fairy hopes you’re excited for the fun to begin!
Love,
Pam
